Lesson to Katrina Survivors & Refugees - If the federal government offers help - RUN!
 
 
Now President Bush wants to repeal Posse Comitatus so that he can send in Federal Active Duty Troops whenever and where ever he wants! Will he designate you a "terrorist" & lock you up forever with no trial or access to counsel? Will he bring out the thumbscrews to bring about a "confession"?

One of the biggest dangers of having deployed the National Guard to Iraq is that our "First Reponders" have learned to treat American Citizens as "The Enemy".

"Just give me your gun.... By the way, the looters & rapists will be here in a couple minutes!"

"They're locked & loaded ... These troops know how to shoot and kill, and they are more than willing to do so, and I expect they will.!" (The LA Governor about the LA National Guard's return from Iraq to New Orleans).
 
First off, refusing to evacuate from New Orleans was a misdemeanor. Look at the above picture. Here, a Federal Agent (DEA) is sticking his shotgun through the front door of a house. Who is he after? Is he after looters? No - they've pretty much finished and most have moved on to greener pastures. Is he after rapists? Nope - they've mostly moved on when the stadium and convention center were emptied out, their disarmed and helpless victims gone. Is he after robbers or murderers? Nope - they've mostly cleared out for easier pickings also. Who is he after? Homeowners! Businessowners! These are people who stuck around to protect their property. Armed homeowners and business owners had successfully defended their property, themselves, & their neighbors from looters, rapists, & murderers. But the "government" is here to help! They are disarming citizens who've stayed in New Orleans to protect their property.
 
Isn't this enough to make one realize that the answer to Bill Clinton wasn't George Bush? Talk about birds of a feather.............
 
Has anybody ever seen such a combination of incompetence and tyrannical arrogance?!?!?
 
Federalizing "Disaster Management" and Posse Comitatus



























Individuals, charities, and churches have been heroic in their response to the devastation of Katrina. The biggest hindrance they've suffered has been being kept out by FEMA and police agencies cooperating with FEMA.
